Boat to store inside garage ?

I own a 19' SeaRay IO & with the out drive down, with it against the back wall the ball hitch comes within 9" of the garage door on a 24' garage. The folding tongue trailers help but you are hard getting much of a boat in a 19'7" garage unless you angle it. In addition for me to back the boat...

    Not good. Maybe

I flushed my block with the -50°F anti-freeze & checked the anti-freeze that came out. The water/anti-freeze solution froze in my freezer to a slush at +5°F. My boat is in my garage so I don't think it will get that cold.

    Engine races, no power

That was just what I was thinking, your prop has a rubber bushing inside of it. If the pressure gets too high the rubber bushing will slip instead of breaking your gears in your lower unit. You will just have to remove your prop & old bushing then slide a new bushing in the prop then reinstall...

    Antifreez

You don't really need antifreeze, you can just pull the plugs & let the water drain but if there is a small place that holds water it will break so we use an antifreeze flush just to be sure that we are safe from freezing. very cool carb and intake manifold causing moisture

Don't use alcohol gas. The alcohol is what is cooling the metal more than it supposed to be. Alcohol when it absorbs the water turns white & gets thick. I use to use 100% alcohol in a racing go cart. If it wasn't drained after every race the moisture would turn everything in the tank to a white...

    Fuel question

There could be negative pressure in it if it has cooled off since the last time it was open.

Daytona ... final race before the Chase

Wow are they to the chase already. I stopped watching NASCAR when the started doing the segmented races. To me that's not real racing anymore because it takes the endurance out of the race. Maybe that's why they are having a hard time filling the stands.

Are wheel locks the way to go?

All locks can be defeated so I keep another vehicle parked in front of my boat & trailer.

    08 Mustang Advice

It would depend on the condition on the rest of the car. If the car is in good condition it would be worth dropping in a factory rebuilt engine like a Jasper rebuilt. They warranty their complete engines 3ys or 100,000 miles. Give them a call to find out how much their rebuilds cost...

    08 Mustang Advice

For the price I would try changing the belt first. If you get it wrong you are only out the price of the belt & a little time.
