slight gas in oil 2009 yamaha 4 stroke

hey boscoe99, my numbers are 54 MPH at 5200 RPM. Had it trimmed up a lot,, could have gone more, but was porposing so I backed off. Thought I would have gotten more RPM out of the motor than that, 6200 is red Line on this gauge / motor. let me know what you think.

slight gas in oil 2009 yamaha 4 stroke

boscoe99 thank you for reply !!!----- it is my lack of knowledge and lack of experience with 4 stroke motors, guess the old 2 smokes were just to easy. I am hoping with the info I have gained, I can operate the motor correctly (WOT) and also ensure operation of all components "thermostat". And...

I certainly don't think I am the only person having this issue nor is OEM Yamaha jumping in anywhere to defend their product "imagine that". But from what I have...

Another gear oil thread... 80w-90 vs. 90

only use Yamaha lube products on my 2009 150 HP 4 stroke motor, not sure if that is the best product, but the OEM sure like it,, LOL,,

    karavan sure lube axles, nice.

question?? with water getting in, will that not turn the grease into muck,,, because it sure did on my brothers trailer wheel bearings, after only 50 miles or so on the the new Carry-on WHEEL HUBS, our grease went from red marine grease to tan colored muck, needless to say,, damage to race was...

    Vault Wheel Hubs

thanks for everyone's reply, certainly a subject for anyone with a boat to discuss. As mentioned, the Vault hubs were on the boat when I bought it, about 4 months ago. Once I serviced them I feel good about the design as well as the fact they are a true sealed submersible hubs. Also as...
