    Maiden Voyage and sea trials complete! The old tower of power hums along beautifully, and gets up and scoots! Very little if any water seepage, I am sure some water was in it from the rain storm last night.

    8.5 months later, about $4,000 and she is ready for the water. Pulled it out of the wood shop today! Hull numbers, and Montgomery Ward crest applied.

    Applied the graphics this week. Grote also just released the submersible rectangular trailer light kit, they look great!

    Nearing the end. Picked up the graphics for the sides, and decided to add some foam pads to the bow.

    Getting ready to fit it back onto a trailer. Sanded and blasted trailer, and sprayed it with bedliner.

    Yep, cedar. When my grandpa died I took a trailer load of reclaimed cedar. This has been a good use of it. Plus reminds me of Grandpa.

    Color is coming! Although, the gray primer does look pretty good as is. I found the original color code to match my old truck. Water Fall Blue.

    Interior lighting is complete. I ordered the Horn to make it legal. Also need to figure out how to hold the wiring up.

    Working on a lot of wiring. USB, Fan, Bilge, Nav lights done. Done light, side lighting, and air horn to come.

    The Tower of Power has been hung! Also, I found this steering wheel on Overton’s on clearance. It fits the style of boat perfectly.

    Placed the third seat tonight. Left enough room beside it so you can walk through getting in and out of the water. But there is enough room for a 4th if I wanted to. Also framed in the back deck. Still need to add some supports.

    New seats in the boat yesterday. Also sprayed a sample strip of color on the side. Taking inspiration from the 1955 I had when I was 15. What do you think?
