    Motor is perfectly center. Hull isn’t deformed as far as I’m aware. The plate around the av plate was slightly bent, took some vice grips and straightened it as best as I could.     The av plate is approx 1/2-1 inch higher than the keel. I removed the fins and it has seemed to have fixed the issue. However the starboard side water is shooting out like a rooster tail while port side is just kinda weakly shooting straight up, not coming in the boat anymore

    Thank you. It’s as lows as it’s going to go, without a jack plate or some other form of lowering it. I’ll take the fins off and see what happens.

    Installed this new motor on a friends boat. It doesn’t have electric trim, only the tilt rod thing. We had it set at one notch above the lowest setting and the boat was proposing. Lowered it down one notch (lowest it will go) and now water is spraying over the transom, but no longer porpoising...
