    Have an opportunity to buy a new stainless steel prop for $100...someone offered me. Wasn't really looking, but seems like a deal. Anyone know the proper size for an 83' Evinrude 115? My looks fine now...a few knicks and a slight dent on one fo the propeller wings - not stainless...

    Running motor with earmuffs on

    Just put new power packs, plugs and wires on my 115 Evinrude (1983). Running it in gear with some throttle (upto 4000 rpm)for s short time to make sure everything is working the motor makes a kind of garbling exhaust noise...not a precision "prrr". Is that just the way it is being a 2-stroke...

    83' RUDE 115 - lost spark..switched p-pack

    Engine has been running great. Intermittent sticky starts, but overall pretty good. Running it this last weekend, I lost spark in port-side 2 cylinders (V-4). Kept running though, I guess on 2 cylinders...real rough and wouldn't do much even with WOT. Threw new plugs in, still the same...
