    I'm working on a 14 hp Johnson. The model number and serial number are scraped and not legible. What I can read, I think, says made in Hong Cong. I didn't know OMC sold any Chinese motors? Can anyone confirm?

    Starter Drive Lube?

    I just had to unstick a 50 hp Johnson Bendix, (starter drive). It's very claen and works fine now, but was wondering if I should put a small amount of some sort of lube on the spiral gears?<br />This motor is used in saltwater. Thanx, Bob
