    Wire clip on needle with seat

    This will be the last dumb question: Whis the clip on the needle for? The needle has a notch on opposite end of the point in which the clip was attached. The old needle has no notch and no wire clip. What is it?<br />Jake.

    Trying to set engine sychronization and linkage adjustments. The last step is "Manually rotate the armature base to its full spark position". I know what it means but not sure how I find that position. How do I know if/when it is in "full spark position".<br />Thanks,<br />Jake

    40ESL 70A running at 1/2 speed

    1970 40HP Johnson: Running at 1/2 speed
