    1994 150hp Please Help

    Took the boat out today and when I tried to plane out (approx. 2300 rpm) the rpm went through the roof and no go. The engine ran fine but I believe I have a lower unit issue. Fished all day just could not get above 2300 rpm. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

    Model Identification

    A friend of mine just picked up an older Ranger at an impound auction and it has been painted over and decals removed. I know it is a Ranger and the impound says it is and 83 model and is 17' 6" long. Does anyone know how to find out what model of boat he has aquired? Thanks in advance. JT

    Water Presure Gauge Install

    I am wanting to add a water presure gauge to my 1994 Ranger/1994 150XRi. Does anyone have any advice the install before I run into trouble? Is this a project that a halfway handy guy can undertake? Any info on the subject would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. JT
