    You could give this a try, Moen's Mouse Mix. https://mousemix.us/ It's an all natural pest deterrent. We used it in our camper and it works really well. They don't say it works on squirrels but it might be worth a try. You can get on Amazon or directly from Moen's.

    I've been using 100% synthetic oil in my last 3 Mercruisers over the last 20 years. 3.0L, 4.3L, and now a 5.7L absolutely zero issues.

    Gear Oil Pump Storage

    I take mine out of the bottle, hold it over my waste oil container, actuate the pump to get most of the residual gear oil out and then put it in a big zip lock bag that has a couple blue shop paper towels on the bottom to soak up any extra gear oil.

    I think we're looking at two separate problems, the engine stalling, and the mismatched prop. Likely the cause of the engine stalling and not starting is not from that little tube, , unless the engine was severely overheated.

    A quick search on the naked lady machine shows fuel capacity from 76-100 gallons. The 7.4L is a 454 cubic inch GM big block. Been around for decades.
