    Plastic pipe 1995 Bayliner capri 1800

    There are 2 pieces of 1 1/4" - 1 3/4" plastic pipe fiberglassed into the underside of the transum behind the rear seat (but forward of the rear steps) Anyone know why they are there? I am thinking of taking them out to mount some braces for a ski pylon.

    I'm thinking about buying and installing a water pump kit. Can anyone tell me how difficult a job this would be for this engine? Any special tools or anything needed?
