    1980 9.9 Evinrude propeller shaft play

    I just finished replacing seals and bearings on the propeller shaft. Once I reassembled everything, the end of the shaft (prop end)has a very slight side to side slop. There is no in/out slop, only side to side. Is this normal? I am pretty sure I bottomed out the bearings. The forward...
