Engine miss on 75HP Mariner 1988

The engine runs fine up to about 4000 rpms, but when I give it gas, it misses. But sometimes it runs OK at higher speeds. I'm sure it's electrical, but I've replaced the fuel pump, installed a separate water separator and fuel filter, and run Seafoam through it several times. Pushing the...

    Mariner fuel starvation hesitation

I have a 1994 Mariner 75hp outboard. Runs great for a while (maybe a half hour; maybe an hour), then starts hesitating. I press in the choke, and it will speed up most of the time, but it will slow down again. Usually happens above 2500-3000 rpms, but will stall at idle also when this...

2000 50HP Mercury 4 stroke outboard chokes out under power

I just bought a boat with a 2000 50HP Mercury outboard 4 stroke. Runs great in the driveway in neutral, forward, and reverse. I put it in the lake, starts fine, but chokes out when I put it in gear. I put new gas in the tank, but it still happens. Ideas? Thanks.
