    yet another Evi I.D. crisis

    Hi, I have an Evinrude Sea King (sold by Montgomery Ward?) with the number 883461 stamped on the freeze plug, I'm removing several coats of paint from the I.D. label and can't read it yet. Could you tell me the year? According to the cowling, it should be a 40hp. Thanks!
