    1968 evinrude 9.5 cuts in and out

    The problem I'm having is that the engine is cutting out @ mid to full throttle. I have checked plugs gapped at 30 also have taken off carb and cleaned it. I also mixed fresh premium fuel mixed 50:1. Is there something else I'm missing or overlooking. Please any advice would be appreciated.

    I posted this on the 14th and only got one reply. But this is the situation I can get the motor started but as soon as I put it in gear it dies. The only way I found for it to go is to pull the choke all the all out and hold it there while moving. But even then it will go fast for a few...
