J 150 2stk o/b 1990 v6 going through 6 gals in an hour operating at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.......If this engine originally was calibrated for sea level, could I be overly rich?
The boat is only a 16' tri hull.
I have a 16' ti hull with a J 150 v6 ob and was wonder how I can lower fuel consuption. Throw me some ideas please. PS. I normally drive at 1/2 throttle or so.
I'm a newbie and was wondering how good this engine is and if there is anything I should be aware of.
Don't have history of the engine but did see it run (out of the water). Ran nice and water flowed from cooling tube.
