    annual check do it yourself (is this a hard one)

    How tuff of a job is the annual inspection of 2005/4.3L/alpha1gen2 "u-joints, splines & bellows--engine alignment---u-joint splines"? need to do this service myself in todays economy---any help/headsup--greatly appreciated--

    oil pressure jumped after oil change

    2005 tahoe q4sf/4.3l merc v-6, change oil (25-40w) & filter thursday, ran it on mouse ears no leaks(filter) must be good to go, at lake 2 days later 2 600am, got rpm's to 3000 up to 3800, oil pressure guage at 80psi, after a bit (time to get oil warm) backed down to about 42. stopped fished for...

    pulling off prop for 1st time

    pulling off prop off 2005 alpha 1 gen 2 to re-lube prop shaft, plenty of wrenches, will i need some type of gear puller (prop puller) or will this come off by hand? new to me but need to do my own maintenance now----thanks

    epoxing inhull transducer help

    need some tips for epoxing inhull transducer, i purchased slow cure epoxy, i've sanded down area of choice, but how do you keep epoxy from flowing all over, how far off the hull should the transducer be off the hull and how do you hold it upright, or any other tips?
