    I have a 28 hp 1992 johnson.It acts like it is 4 cycleing be low 3000 rpm. I runs great afer 3000 rpm .It is link an sycn to the specs. Carb has a new kit in it. New spark plugs.New gas. What else could it be.

    link & sync

    I have a 1992 28 hp johnson I set the link & sync to specs in seloc's manual.between 1500 an 3000 rpm it ran awfull and sounded worse.I moved the cam roller about a quarter inch past the marks on the the cam. It ran great in all rpm's but wants to surge sometimes .Did I mess up by doing this?I...
