    Trim Angle Sensor on Honda 50

    Do you guys know if the trim angle sensor can be repaired? The return spring on mine doesn't provide enough force to overcome the resistance to rotation - I tried WD40, etc. but nothing will loosen it up enough for the spring to do it's job. Replacement cost = $130 - trying to avoid the purchase.
