    hi fellas, i took my carbs off and tore them down today and did like you said, these carbs were very very clean throughout. needle valve was fine and looked like new. i did this because when you go to accelerate it acts like it starves for gas.. and falls on its face.     accelerating issues!!!!

    :( i have a 1975 evinrude 135 outboard v-4. we took it out yesterday and it would idle fine and go into gear fine. but when you went to acelerate it would stall and fall completly on its face and would die. this motor then would start right back up and when you put it neutral it would rev fine...

    evinrude 48 spl idling problem

    my uncle has a 48 spl outboard that will not idle. we took the carbs off and had them cleaned and put them back on only to do the same thing. what could be causing this problem? it runs fine every other way. any help is greatly appreciated. how good are these motors and are there any problems...
