    Does my motor have a fuel pump???

    I have a 140hp mercury inline 6, old school, 70's style... I love the motor though. Anyway, I have replaced all of the fuel lines, gas, primer bulb, and rebuilt the carbs. I didn't notice a fuel pump on it though. Is the gasoline for this motor vacuum fed??? If I do have a fuel pump, please...

    1977 kawasaki 440 jetski fuel problem

    I was wondering if this thing had a fuel pump or if the fuel is hoked up to a vacuum line... It does not have a primer bulb or any other way to prime the carb... All it has is a choke... No key to turn it on to let the fuel prime by pump... I just am having a hard time beleiving that I need...

    1977 kawa ski electrical problems

    1977 Kawasaki 440 Started up just fine, I went to go start again and the push button ignition started acting up.... I took it apart to inspect, was a little corroded so I cleaned it all up, before I soder it back together I decide to touch the yellow wire to the black... Nothing happened...

    Oil mixture

    I have a 140 hp Outboard Mercury 2 stroke... I was told that it was 50:1 for the oil mixture... Is this to much??? Will to much oil cause fuel not to be burned and to foul the plugs??? Thx. for any help

    Adjusting the outboard to plain out

    I have a 140 hp Outboard on a 16' 10'' open bow sea ray Is it the closer the motor to the boat the faster it will plain out or the further away from the boat??? And If I'm just cruising around all day no towing I would of'course want to plain out faster???

    140 hp Mercury outboard dies when put in gear

    Please help, I know absolutely nothing about boats, first one, but am wanting to learn... So the problem is when I put the boat in gear when it's in the water it just dies. But when I'm at my house with the house it's just fine... Any ideas on what I can do or what this is???
