    OMC Tach ID?

    I would like to find out if there is a reference for OMC tachs. What I'm looking at is a 1993 Lowe 1600 with a 40hp Evinrude. Not sure if the tach is working correctly. Would like to find ID info for a exact replacement with out removing the original. The removal will be a bit of a challenge...

    Top end speed gain with 40 to 70 swap?

    I was wondering how much top end speed gain would be available with moving up to a 70hp from a 40hp Evinrude. The boat is a "93" Lowe 1600 (16'). With the 40hp, I'm getting 25 mph at 4500 rpm with a 11 3/4 x 17 prop. Thanks!

    Multiple Remote Engine Set Up-40 to a 9.9?

    Hello! I have a bass boat set up with a 40 Evinrude remote and power trim. Can I run a 9.9 using the same controls or will I have to go with a guide set up? The 40 is a 1993 model. What do I need to look for in a 9.9? Thanks in advance!
