    63 3hp evinrude tank filter???

    Suspected my carb is not getting enough gas. Pulled the pet **** and looks like a fuel filter is still stuck up into the tank. Does it come out? How do you go about getting it out? This might be my last problem then onto great running motor. Thanks, Mettyfish

    I put a new ignition kit and carb kit in this motor. Got it fired up but right on the head it measures 210 degrees. Right behind the head about 160. And on exhaust plate about 160ish. Is my head getting to hot. I did not replace impeller but it pumps strong out of the holes and out of the flush...

    The felt wiper for my timing cam was old and basically gone. I got a new with my ignition kit but it seems kind of long. I am not figuring out how its supposed to set in the holder. Can someone put a pic on here showing how it is supposed to set in there. Thanks a bunch. Mettyfish

    63 3hp evinrude question.

    I took off the ignition plate and cleaned up everything. Put it back on and now I can barely rotate it. Seems like it really fits tight. Its almost hard to rotate without the screws in it. Any ideas? Thanks, Mettyfish

    Question about ignition kit. 3hp evinrude 1963

    I bought an ignition kit from Napa Auto parts. Included points and condensers. Also included felts which I think are the wipers for the cam. Also included are some capsules with grease in them. Is the grease for the wiper felt. And are the felts for the wipers. Thanks for any help gents. Mettyfish

    1975 johnson 9.9 Need a couple pieces parts.

    Picked up a 9.9 and got it running great. Noticed it needs a throttle spring detent part # 0319414 and an idle adjust knob on side. Would like to find used reasonable prices. Any ideas? Thanks for your help gentleman.

    Question on rebuilding my lower unit. 61 10hp Evinrude

    I removed the guts from the lower unit and as everything fell out I lost track of which side the shift rod goes. Or does it matter? In otherwords does the shift lever that goes down to the clutch dog retainer go on a certain side. Thanks for your help as I am putting it back together very soon...

    QD 18 and pressure tank questions.

    I just had a guy give me a QD18. Motor was a little stuck but got her loose with a touch of elbow grease and lube. Looks like the wrong spark plugs.
