    Johnson V.S. Mercury

    I have to choose between a 20' champion with a 92' 240 H.P. Merc.(bridgeport) that has been ported and modified, or a 21' Skeeter with a 1988 225 h.p. Johnson. The Modified Merc. scairs me. What do you think?

    1988 225 h.p. Johnson

    I am thinking of buying a Skeeter that has a 1988 225 H.P. Johnson on the back of it. I have never had a Johnson, so was wondering if there were any problems or good feedback about this engine that I should know about. It has 255 hours on it. Thanks.
