I've got a cracked block (5.7L OMC) and was told that i could fill the water passage with concrete and not replace the block. Has anyone done this or seen it done? Would like some input. Thanks

It seems there's very few cobalt owners on this site. I'm surprised by that because the older cobalts always seem to hold up so well. I'm redoing an '86 18DV, I'll post pictures when I start putting stuff back on.
