    I have a 1988 3 cyl 90hp merc, and its not firing on the no. 2 cyl. It has good spark, it's getting plenty of gas, and has good compression. Is it possible that its not firing at the right time?

    oil level sensor causing warning siren to sound

    I have an '89 90hp merc, and the warning siren went of on our last outing. The siren sounds constantly with the key in the run position whether the motor is running or not. I found the junction where the three wires from the overheat, oil pressure, and oil level sensors connect to the engine...
