Engine has 45 hours on it and has run well for the six months I've owned it. I did run it through a sand bar several months ago, but it didn't give my any problem at the time. I had the muffs on in the driveway today and was trying to tweak the idle and the overheat buzzer went off on me. I then backwashed the engine for 20 minutes, but still no luck. Alarm sounded again after running for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that my pressure gauge on my dash was not reading any pressure, so I pulled the hose off and had no pressure where the hose attatches to the head. I'm afraid I may have some blocked water passages. I could use some expert advise and opinions on what I might be able to check.

Thanks...Jerry

check your pressure relief valve. remove it and see if it is hung.
its either that or you have toasted your water pump.
good luck and keep posting
