03 90 hp oil leaking at oil level senser rubber cap

this must be common seeing that oil senser is put in the middle of oil tank. running with oil under that level for right now. is there a cheap easy fix or just spend the 120$ for new senser

Get a #320107 ty-strap from a Johnson or Evinrude dealer and fasten it tightly around the neck and that usually takes care of the problem.

The 320107 ty-rap is fuel and oil resistant and has a radiused head on the end to conform to the curvature of the tank neck. Do not use a regular ty-rap with the square head as it does not clamp evenly.
