I'm in the process of restoring a 1988 bass boat. I already have an '04 25 hp 2 stroke Mercury with control box and control cables, but I'm having trouble finding a steering link arm for a merc under 60 hp. Am I missing something. I found a universal link but it was $100. The mouting hole on the motor is 3/8" as well as the steering cable end. Would the 3/8" link for the 60hp merc work?
