04 DF40 Oil Lamp

The oil lamp has been on for two years so i was told. I want it off without cutting anything. I believe it is the oil change lamp. Is there a sequence to shut it off or reset the system without the computer program?

Try pulling your kill switch lanyard off of the kill switch, turn ignition key to the on position (do not start). Manually pull out the kill switch button three times in quick sucession and your should get an audible beep, turn off ignition. Hope this works for you.
