Left the boat beached with an incoming tide, wind picked up, 15-30 min later had a swamped boat. Managed to wrangle it to the ramp and winch it out after a lot of cursing. Motor didn't get submerged, but got good 'n wet. The water is brackish. I got the water out of the tank (very little) and lines/filter bowl (none that I saw) and fired it up on land. Ran it for about 15 minutes, seemed ok. Surprisingly the battery still worked after being completely submerged. I didn't fresh water rinse anything because everything was dry by the time I took off the cowl. Whole process was maybe 60-90 minutes. In general, corrosion here is maybe 10-20% of what you'd see in all salt. Next steps?

WD40 everything, hope it will displace anything which might cause an issue later. It displaces water and left behind it helps insulate

Just my opinion, others usually differ
