04 Stingray 200cs, How in hell does this seat fit

In the cabin of this boat is two seats, They can be made to lay flat to make the bed. There is a center cushion between these two seats.
I have no clue how this cushion fits in, Am I missing some support for it or am i just not thinking with clear thoughts?
