Does anyone know what brand or size that key west uses? My auto bilge feature has failed, may have to replace it, manually it works fine-auto does not. Might be the float sensor?

any suggestions, are they pretty easy to clean and service or should I just replace it?

Re: 05 186 cc bilge pump issue

I thought my live well pump went out this weekend. After removal and cleaning I discovered that the wiring had become contaminated with salt water. Some di-eletric grease and new connectors, she ran fine. Perhaps you have a similar problem? To answer the question though...Rule makes the one in mine. OEM? Dunno. I do have the same problem, but the float switch will not turn on until 2 inches of water is in there. I get nervous and hit the switch out of habit. Mine may indeed work...

More info.....

More info.....

the upper, back corners of my live well leak big time, very tough to see unless you were looking for it, when the live well is full and running & I am up on plane - all the water from my live well just pours into my bilge, at the same time my auto bilge doesn't kick on. I had close to 75 gallons of water in the back before I really noticed it. Boat felt funny amongst other things. I manual turned on the bilge from the dash and proceeded to bail water out of the back with a modified milk jug. Once close to empty and after I emptied the live well it was fine. When I got home I noticed the live well leak- proceeded to fill the bilge up with water from a garden hose- still no auto bilge- manually it worked fine, no surprise.

I then took the hose and sprayed water in to the corners of the live well, massive amount of water was shooting into the bilge- finally ralising that combination of the leak and lack of auto bilge is the issue. Must be the float switch- I am contemplating of replacing the whole pump, rather than just play with the float switch.
