Well, after two trips working with the bait tank in my boat I'd had enough of dying bait. So, wanting a fiberglass tank, I waited for a deal to float my way. I felt lucky to be able to pick this up from another BD'er.
I set in my boat for a dry run. Brought the inlet and outlet thru the access lid in the deck instead of drilling my boat. This worked good, took me alot of thought on the right configeration of piping. I was able to keep the same ID on both lines. So it's 3/4 inlet and 1 1/4 outlet. I secured the tank down with fiberglass angle, and the top/back with a fiberglass plate I had laying around. I cut out the light access hole at the bottom so I could work on and inspect the goings on from time to time, and made a cover for it. I tested the fill rate at 28 gal/12 min (don't know the range I should be at). I used the existing pait pump, and drain outlet, so I'll use the bait tank that came with the boat as a cooler/storage/fishhold. Tested it out at DVL, put it thru a series of turns, doughnuts, what little wakes I could find. It seems ready to hold some fish this friday. I'll remove it in the winter to hit it with marine paint to match my white boat color. I hope this helps someone else with a trophy that's thinking to upgrade.
