06 Mercury 60hp 2 stroke BigFoot Squeal

The motor doesnt do it when its in neutral, but as soon as i put it in gear it makes this squealing noise that seems to be coming from the lower unit. The best way to describe it is... It sounds like the belt on your car or truck that squeals when it needs to be greased or replaced. No loss of power or anything, just a noise. Anyone know what this might be?

Sounds like it could be the water pump to me.

Possibly the water pump, or vertical shaft bearing.
