Quick simple question hopefully not to stupid....I have a 13ft whaler...The prior owner ran the steering cable through a piece of wood. Now im trying to remove it. I know i have two nuts on each side of the rod on the motor end.Do i need to simply start removing them. I did already remove the swing arm rod connecting into the main rod. I ordered a manual but was hoping to get some work down sooner Thanks.
