07 Yamaha F150 - how to Start without a key?

I have get the boat from the dock to the marina without a key so the new ignition can be installed.. Is there a way I can hotwire it.. I can't find a wire diagram for the motor anywhere... Its a 2007 F150 Yamaha engine.. Too bad they werent as easy as the oldies haha..

its still just as quick and simple as boats of old.
what control box and keyswitch combination do you have?

Haha.. I'm not sure what control box it was, but I got it moved. The key was way easier than hotwiring it lol.

Btw - How so are they as easy as the oldies? Arent there wires for the fuel injection and all the fun computers in it? I think I have all of 3 wires on my boat lol.

thats how easy it is, hook the red to the rellow and touch the brown to it and its running until you seperate the yellow and red.

Well than.. I suppose your right.. It is just as easy as my older boat.. Only thing making it tough is the 4 screws to get to the ignition compared to the open key on my older boat. Well thanks for the info! Have a great night!

Hope its yours.

Connect red to yellow. Disconnect white (kill cord). Purple (or is it brown) to red/yellow to start. The white may be grounded via the ingition switch which will prevent the engine from starting.
