use 2 pieces of 3/4 or 3 pieces of 1/2. 7 ply or 5 ply respectively.
Cheaper and eather stronger or just as strong. Fasten them together with what ever everyone is using and then put a coat of something on the outside and slip it in.
Gorilla glue and a handful of screws....... glue and screw the board together. Let them sit for at least 24 hrs and remove the screws. Seal up everything with poly or epoxy resin and some csm and it will never fail you.
