In the process of removing all the rotted wood from my 1977 Sea Ray 240 Sundancer. Good old foam and its love for rotting wood. The transom has about a 1/4 of the wood rotted, all on one side top to bottom. The rest of the transom wood is very solid and no signs of rot. So the big question should I fix the 1/4 rot with new plywood and fiberglass. Or rip it all out and put all new wood and fiberglass? This is a big transom and a lot of work ripping out and replacing it all.

When it comes to to Transoms there are NO partial replacements. Tear it ALL out and Replace it ALL!!

Yep, all out and none of them are easy, but has to be done.
