1.6 OMC Sea Drive- weak water pressure coming out of tell tale hose

Hello I have a 1989 OMC Sea Drive which is basically a v4 cross flow outboard. I noticed last fall that I didn't have much water streaming out of the tell tale hose, but the engines operating temp. was right where it should be. I just replaced the water pump with a complete kit today and have the same issues. I removed the lines and there doesn't appear to be any obstructions in the lines. The engine ran fine and the temp. was less than 130 degrees. Is this anything to be concerned about. I have the boat up for sale and don't want any issues. thanks.

If you have it on a flusher sometimes that happens. What does the stream look like when it is in the water with the foot submerged?

You could have an obstruction in the fitting for the tell tale line.
