1 hole up or 2 ?

my motor is already set in 2nd from the top .....Need more rpm should i go to the max or just 1 hole up ,,,,how many rpm will i gain moving it up 1? right now it is even with the bottom of the transom ......looking to gain at least 500rpm ........

Raise only one hole per time.
