Wow, best weather of the whole summer, everyday sunny and high 70's. Great fishing and 90% of the time I had the whole lake to myself. I mean NObody else on the water! Boat performed flawlessly, no problems. Used it everyday.

where were you? I grew up in Mio with parents that were afraid of the water so there was no boating then. I still have family in Alpena, and thought about trailering the boat up there (750 miles one way). Don't think I'm big enough for lake Huron but maybe some of the smaller ponds.

That particular lake is Sapphire, right between two much larger lakes, Missaukee and Crooked, and only 15 mins from lakes Cadillac and Mitchell, which are connected for boats less than the height of the bridge, kind of low.
