$100 for hitch hardware?!

All I need are the square pieces, with the square hole in them for a carriage bolt.

$100 for this stuff? gotta be kidding me

That's insane for a handful of carriage bolts, some square washers and two tag nuts. I'd be making my own install kit if it were me. I just put a hitch on my one truck that I got at a flea market, They wanted $18 plus shipping for the hardware kit and I thought that was too much so I went to the hardware store and got some grade 5 bolts and some flat stock and made my own.

Those guys are sniffing glue !!!!
If you are handy with some basic hand tools then make the bracketry yourself and go to an industrial fastener outlet for the bolts, nuts, washers etc. A lot of places will give you the handfull you need for a few dollars (cash) that is !!!!
