100 to 1 oil gas mixture?

The manual on an old 28 hp Johnson (I just got) says that it should run on a 100:1 fuel mix. This seems very light compared to all others I have had that use 50:1. Will it get enough lubrication with the 100:1 mix?

50:1. OMC recinded the 100:1 suggestion.

Don't forget to pull the sticker if it's still on it.
