Hey guys needa bit of help when i start and idle/run my 105 outboard its not pumping water up threw the leg of the motor out the hole ive tried it with muffs and in a tub full of water but no difference, one sujested it may be the impeller or water pump. how do i go about checking it out?? whats involved in fixing and where could i get parts for it in Australia??

i think its an 1980mdl but ive been told by a bloke that by the model #10563 and serial # 1032 that its a 1968 mdl. was there any real difference? the motor is pictured.

really appreciate anyhelp
cheers

Sounds like the impeller to me. Get a book for it when you order the parts. I would follow the step by step instructions you will find on this site, and pull it apart before you order anything. Sounds like you may need the complete water pump kit. This is a great old engine....I had one for several years. Good luck.

well my supplier just found out that they are discontinuing parts for these, but you can still find them, try tenkillermarine.com or try googling your serial number and such---------------oh, i'll almost guarantee it's your impeller-----------------jon
