Hi Yall, got a simple question... i just yesterday bought a 89 Jevilen boat with the evinrude 110 on it ( i think its orignal) anyway im sure im running on 3 year old gas that has water in it :( it has 3/4 tank and i didnt want to waste it :) i ran it WOT for about 8 miles up the lake and did good . so the question is...

the carbs have white frothy liquid on the OUTSIDE of them it almost looks like frost but isnt. what is that? never seen it on any of my other boats before... thanks....

PS: its a VRO motor and its hooked up and working

no idea what that is but definetly doesnt sound/look too good... i have a feeling since it sat for so long some rust, old junk acumulated.... if i were you i would def do a decarb with seafoam.... replace or top the old gas... never run an outboard with old gas... if anything a lawnmower thats it....haha

after you decarb clean the carburators/motor of junk and go from there... if persists i would try to replace gaskets to stop the leak or whatever it is... good luck
