I have a 88 johnson 110 vro. Took it out and ran fine all weekend last weekend. I changed plugs weds and started it, ran fine no trouble. Took it to the water today wont start. It would just crank and crank. When I got home i noticed the lanyard was off so i put it back on and it tried to start but was flooded out. SO I put another new set of plugs and now it will barely try to start. It will burp every now and again. It's getting good spark and it's getting fuel because eventually it will flood out if I crank it to much. It sounds as if it's starving for gas though. I cleaned the fuel filter and it was pretty nasty. Could some of that debris gotten into my fuel pump and clogged it possibly? I just dont understand how it started and ran good a few days ago and now it went to crap. Sorry for the long novel just wanted the details in it. Thanks.
