CAn anyone help?
my vro is great when going but can be a pain to start. the problem is that the starter does not always go fully up to reach the fly wheel and therefore doesnt spin it to start. I can twist it myself until it connects and then start it but this is an effort. Is the starter on it's way out and needs replacing or is there something i can do to fix it?
If it's done does anyone know how much a new / used one will cost and is it easy to replace.
thanks guys for your help

Re: 110 vro starter problem

Be sure you have a fully charged battery, and that the battery is actually large enough and capable of accepting a full charge. Try another battery to be certain. Next, clean the starter shaft by raising the bendix. I use silicone spray lub on my motors. If this still doesn't work, make sure the battery cables are clean and tight (both ends). If this still doesn't get the job done, your starter may indeed be headed south.
