LOL my question describes my boat. But seriously. I'm thinking about increasing my low speed jets to help smooth out the idle. You know how an omc turbojet will clunk and stutter if the rpms are low. Even when I have my 115 idling at around 1500 and it still can't get rid of the backlash. It sounds lean and smooths right out when I hit the choke. I am hesitant to think that it is a gearbox problem $$. My motor is bored .030 over on all four. Carbs are clean and adjusted. Linc and synkd to the knats ***. New fuel pump. The jets are #22's. I could spend $24 bucks on new jets or I have a .6mm drill bit which will bore the #22's to a .0236. Do you think that would be too much? I noticed the 90hp carb configuration runs #24 jets.
