115 buzzer goin off ..HELP..

85 115 yamaha 2-stk <br />buzzer goes on (703 control box) after like 10 min of idle ...... i know the wires on the control box are for a overheat light and oil warning ..... which wires can i use just to hook a light bulb up to see what warning im geting ?

If the alarm is steady -- that's overheat. Beeping is oil related.

actually on the yam a steady tone indicates overheat or oil, the difference is which visual indicator is lit. that wiring goes between the engine and the gauge independant of the control box.<br /> the green/green red is the ground signal for the oil alarm visual indicate. the pink wire is the ground signal for the horn and the grey bullet connector is the ground for the overheat visual. look under the hood for the correct wires they dont all go to the control box if you do not have a tach.
