Im getting a boat that has not run for 6 years and the motor is froze up. I have been told pull the plugs a load the ports up with marvel mystrey oil or transmission fulid. I guess these will work as good as any. If this frees up the motor what do i need to do to flush it???? Im sure that there will be some debris left

I would use the Marvel Mystery oil. Get the motor as high as you can so that the oil can seep down all the way around the cylinders to the rings. Let it sit for a couple of days and then try to break it loose. Use a socket on the flywheel net & a breaker bar if you have one.

What year is it?

If it breaks loose you should turn it over by hand a bunch to get the oil where it has not been in a long time. At that point you could try to start it - fresh 50:1 pre mix. If it starts I would not run it for long as you will want to check compression, rebuild the carbs, new plugs, water pump & gear oil.

Let us know how it goes.
